HOW IT ALL BEGAN

1949

A BRONZE FOUNDRY

Dr. Rudolf Klepsch Sr. leased the Brandstätter bronze foundry and founded Zell-Metall.

1955

Polyamide production

Zell-Metall becomes the second company in Europe to start extruding round rods made of polyamide

1956

Foundation Senoplast

by Wilhelm Klepsch in Kaprun and the start of a success story

1960

Relocation to Kaprun

Zell-Metall relocates from Mühlbach and Zell am See to Kaprun

First patent

for coextruded senosan® ABS/PMMA sheets for sanitary applications
